The Almost Perfect Guide to Feeding Your House Rabbit

WELCOME to CarrotCafé. Whether you are proud new caretaker of a house rabbit or have been living with a bunny for years, you have no doubt read books, surfed the web and been confused by all the ways that different resources have told you to feed your bunny. All pellets, no pellets, hay, no hay, vegetables, no vegetables, they are all touted as the way to feed your bunny the perfect diet. With all the conflicting information it is difficult to decide what is right for your rabbit. This website attempts to explain rabbit nutrition and feeding, not by telling you how to feed your bunny, but by telling you why you feed your bunny.

This site is divided into a number of different sections to help better organize all the information.

	Technical Stuff describes the different nutrients a bunny needs and what foods contain them. For those of you who really want the nitty gritty details, lists of recommended daily requirements can be found here as well.
	Diets gives general recommendations for bunnies of different ages. If you are just looking for a quick how to then this is probably the place you want to look.
	In edibles you will find reviews and evaluations of different rabbit foods, from hays to pellets to treats. If you are wondering what specifically you should feed your bunny give this section a look-see.
	Help! lists frequent problems that are related to diet and nutrition in rabbits. If your bunny has stopped eating or has diarrhea, this is where you want to go first.
	Syringe feeding lists various recipies to syring feed a sick bunny.
